I love the wig & wig stand! My first thought was Rumpole. Wittes of the Bailey? My thanks to Anne Applebaum giving of her time while healing. Her Sudan information highlights the world as it is. No currency, no middle class, no government infrastructure, and what it means for those existing on the land.

I will always place good, objective evidence in front of a wanker and patiently wait, while making full eye contact, for them to rally whatever they can cook up. In my case, I debunked a left influencer-driven lie about the cops in LA by posting the actual full video they edited. Crickets. I made no friends but I feel better about myself.

Left trolls can be quite blind. I have experienced this myself. It's not helpful. It surfaces the whole morality of resistance thing.

Powder. It needs powder. This in response to an AI query regarding jurisprudential wig hygiene. "Initially, wigs, which were often made from horse or goat hair and not cleaned regularly, would attract lice and develop unpleasant odors. Powdering them with scented starch like lavender or orange blossom helped combat these issues."

Just to note: gifts are always given freely, to do with as you please. If the wig becomes a chew toy and needs replacement, LMK.

Hey Ben, if you haven’t tried this already to find your passport, try looking in your suit pocket if you wore a suit on an overseas trip.

I hate to play favorites or hurt feelings, but I vote for Ben being the solitary wearer of the Wig of the Bailey. He is the one holding court, after all. We are but his mere subjects.

Holly, he promised to wear the wig if provided to him. It was a couple of months ago but the promise was given.

"Remarkable shifts"... it's as if there is some sort of organized, systemic effort to make America weaker and the world meaner.

"A recognition of peoples' power in different places..." . That seems like a good idea. You know, kind of like if people could determine their own way forward. Kind of like a self-government. Perhaps there could be some means of folk indicating how they want things to be administrated...kind of sort of like a vote or something. Oh wait...

I have never understood why anyone signs up for the military. Giving up your free will and conscience under threat of prison is nonsense. There should be mass resignations. The longer they continue invading American cities the less respect they will deserve.

We are at the point of authoritarian takeover where military desertion or refusing to follow orders is appropriate. Those who take a charge now will be lauded as moral champions if we survive this.

You are limbering up your Yiddish more and more, Chief Wittes. Thank you for teaching me "shanda". What a useful term.
