The Russian embassy was all dressed up for Victory Day. Banners hung down the front of the building. The fountains were on for the first time in a long time. The place was brightly lit, and the “Z” and “V” spotlights were up before it was even dark. Well-dressed people, there for some Victory Day reception. There was even a bus full of guest…
